Strength coach let go

Mike Kadar, the Kings’ strength and conditioning coach for the last four years or so, has been let go. The Kings decided not to renew his contract for next season and Kadar did not accompany the team on its road trip this week. Kadar was brought in by former coach Andy Murray, and the move is one the Kings have been thinking of making for some time. A team source said the team had communicated with Kadar about a possible change throughout the season. It’s hard to consider it much of a surprise, since the Kings replaced their trainer and equipment manager when the new management team took over. This can be seen as an extension of that. I’ve yet to be able to reach Kadar for any comment.
