Tukonen recalled

The Kings have recalled forward Lauri Tukonen from Manchester, a move that Marc Crawford said last week was coming. Crawford wants to get a look at a couple guys from Manchester, and since Tukonen appeared in only one game during his previous stint with the Kings this season, this is his chance to impress. Crawford made it sound as though another guy or two might be coming up. The Kings are optimistic about Peter Harrold's future. Matt Moulson, perhaps?

It was sad that the Fox Sports New England telecast of the Monarchs/Wolf Pack game on Saturday was such a dismal effort for Manchester (at least through the first two periods...) Trailing 5-1 at that point, I couldn't subject myself to much more and although they made it close (5-4), I was really looking forward to seeing some NHL-like performances from the Moulsons and the Tukonens of the world... Didn't happen :)

I am glad to see Tukonen is getting a chance but I would have much rather seen Moulson getting the shot. He has been on fire larely and I havent seen as much out of Tukonen.
