The Kings have announced their preseason schedule:

Thursday Sept. 13 vs. Ducks in Anaheim
Saturday Sept. 15 vs. Ducks at Staples
Tuesday Sept. 18 vs. Sharks at Staples
Wednesday Sept. 19 vs. Avalanche in Denver
Saturday Sept. 22 vs. Avalanche in Las Vegas

PRESEASON SCHEDULE

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings today announced their preseason schedule for the 2007-08 NHL season. The Kings will play five games overall, including two at STAPLES Center -- September 15 versus the Anaheim Ducks and September 18 versus the San Jose Sharks.

In addition to the two home games at STAPLES Center, the Kings will also host the Colorado Avalanche in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand on September 22 as part of “Frozen Fury 10.” The 2007 preseason schedule begins on September 13 at Anaheim and also features a trip to Colorado on September 19. Tickets for the two games at STAPLES Center will go on sale at a later date. Tickets for the Kings-Colorado game in Las Vegas go on sale tomorrow, Saturday. Following the club’s preseason schedule, the Kings will travel overseas and participate in the “Red Bulls Salute 2007” exhibition tournament in Salzburg, Austria, over two days -- September 25 and 26. The “Red Bulls Salute 2007” will feature four teams – the Kings, EC Red Bull Salzburg (Austria; Erste Bank Eishockey Liga); Färjestad BK (Sweden; Swedish Elite League) and HC Davos (Switzerland; Swiss National League) – and a total of four games over two days. The Kings then travel from Salzburg to London, England, where the Kings will open the 2007-08 NHL regular season at the new O2 Arena with two games against the Ducks on September 29 and 30. thanks rich. any word on when the prospect/training camps will begin. even if you dont have dates, what months will they start. thanks alot.

Mike...I'm a bit surprised that they haven't announced anything about the prospects camp. It's typically in early- to mid-July, so I'll ask somebody about it today.

Training camp is usually the second week of September, so I would guess a start date of the 10th, 11th or 12th. Obviously as soon as I know something for certain, I'll post it.
