Jason LaBarbera has been signed also, for two years and $1.65 million. He was a restricted free agent his summer.

Wonderful! I hope it's this easy with Cammalleri. (Not as cheap, of course....)

Is that $1.65/yr or total over 2 years?

Isn't this a bit of a discount over what we paid him last year to play in Manchester? I gotta believe LaBarbara made a bit of a concession signing this deal as he probably sees a whole lot of things that he likes with the organ-eye-zation lately. I'd love a little interview action from Mr. LaBarbara on his reasons for signing this deal if you could make it happen Rich.....I would have thought he might command a little more, but I could be reaching.

Really stoked about Stuart. We got some skilled skating D-men who can make that first pass available potentially on 3 lines now (Viz, Stuy, Preis). With Modry signed, I'm wondering where Miller fits in.....or doesn't. Wonder where he'll end up.

I'm actually excited to see how the lineups shake out this season. The youth coming up (Hoping Boyle makes the team), the new signings, Should be real good and I'll be here a lot looking for the first hand info on who gets sent down and who stays when the time comes.

Garon should have a good shot w/ the Oil. He's just odd man out here and simply couldn't grab the brass ring when he had his opportunities. I definitely wish him well.

Lubo and Cammi. Lubo and Cammi. Lubo and Cammi. Lubo and Cammi. Focus Dean...F-O-C-U-S! Nice job once again today!

Great Job Rich!
