TV in London
The Kings' two-games series against the Ducks in London will have TV coverage. The first game will be televised in the U.S. on HDNet and the second game will be televised by Versus. The first game is also being done by CBC, so I imagine it might be available to those who have the ``Center Ice'' package, but I can't be certain of that. Still no word as to whether FSN will be making the trip to London.

Excellent. HDNet rocks for coverage. In particular the Sights and Sounds of the game segment.
Thanks for the update Rich.
Well, at least it will be broadcast in HD...
Hey Rich big ups to the USC faithful on your blog and I can't wait to see JMFJ and KopiStar in HD at my crib. Big shoutout to Rink and Hippy too!
I'm gonna watch in HD while sitting with HG!
Does this mean you have to have HD in order to view HDNet? Doesn't sound so excellent to me.
Once you've seen it in HD you'll never go back. Would you ever choose to watch in B+W again? Not likely. It isn't all that expensive. The Direct service is less expensive than cable, free installation, all the SD Channels too. The sets are way under $1000 with 32" LCD's at about $500. I know it's one more expense, but it also increases your quality of life. If you can't swing the set get the service, it has an regular TV out too. Watch in STD DEF. I can't wait! (I been blind drunk but I never been high def).
Hey Thanks Rich, you answered the question that I was going to ask... "Kinda". I was going to ask about the Center Ice package getting the first game. If you happen to hear anything on that, please let us know. You're awesome.
Thanks.
Hey Rich any word on when FSN/PrimeTicket etc goes to HD? HD is the best and especially on hockey. Lets go Kings
Awesome! The HDNet broadcasts are the best HD broadcasts out there, so a big hooray from me!
As for FSN/PrimeTicket in HD, pretty solid rumor is that DirecTV will be launching a number of FSN Sport channels in HD this fall. FSN West is on the list, but PrimeTicket is not.
I would assume that Fox would be ready for this, but what programs will be in HD is anyone's guess.

I'm cautiously excited...
HDnet rules, it's the absolute best HD picture on TWC
HDNet was the best place to watch hockey last year. Looks like DirecTV will have BOTH FSW and Prime Ticket in HD coming up (good thing, being that the KINGS will be in exactly ONE nationally broadcast game on VS/NBC):
"...FSN Ohio
FSN Prime Ticket
FSN Rocky Mountain
FSN South
FSN Southwest
FSN West
New England Sports Network
SportsNet New York
SportsSouth
Sun Sports
YES"
Rich, what is up with Eklund rumouring, about the Kings and Habs for a deal involving Visnovsky, check this out, if it is true it, sucks:
The Habs and Kings are rumoured to be discussing a deal that would bring Visnovsky to Montreal.
The Kings reportedly are asking for a prospect and Steve Begin and a pick. Depending on the source, the Habs may be a stopover for Visnovsky. One source is telling me it is, one isn't sure, but apparently the Sharks have some interest in Visnovsky.
Rich,
Can we please ban any reference to that hockeybuzz site? It is absolute garbage. The dude drives around in his car regurgitating what he hears on Canadian sports radio, or something. Horrid.
Is HDnet on Dish Network? And if so what channel??
Thanks,
Im bummed that Versus will be carrying it as that means if you subscribe to the Center Ice package and dont subscribe to the "tier" that has Versus, then blackout rules apply! I subscribe to the center ice package on Dish network and i have the 200 channel package. But Versus is on the 250 channel package tier, so if Versus is running the London game and also TSN, or Rogersports, or CBC feeds on Center ice package will be blacked out. I cannot wait for the day the Versus contract is over! The NHL needs to get back on ESPN!
And When will the USA be getting the NHL network in any form?!
