Another fight

This time it was Ivanans vs. Dale Purinton. Use your imagination as to how it turned out. Seems as though Purinton also got a game misconduct for the instigator.

4:47 left in the first period.

No radio, and spotty internet coverage. Please, please, let someone step up and defend Gary Bettman. Baseball's spring training games have full internet coverage and most of them are on XM. Hockey? *crickets*

Your preaching to the choir Rev. Hammond. My brothers andI have filled buckets on that subject and still no satisfaction.

Unfortunately -- it's the good ole supply and demand. Is this is a NHL issue or a Kings issue? Do the Montreal fans have any problems tuning into their preseason games? Or am I hearing that the NHL should enforce a league wide policy on TV/Radio? That would be great!

FYI: The Kings announced that this game would be tape-delayed at 7:00 PM PDT when they announced the radio schedule.

Also, KTLK's web site is streaming the tape-delayed broadcast. Get it while it lasts, because they aren't supposed to be streaming it and might figure out that they haven't turned it off and then shut it down.

Perfect! Thanks Gann, it's good to know there's a broadcast somewhere. But perhaps Mr. Left Hand should have told Mr. Right Hand before the Kings put a ``listen live'' link on their home page right before the game. Oops.

At least there's a Listen Live link today... there hasn't been the last week.

And I love the NHL Radio page with the links to the scheduled games, that aren't the live broadcasts. Been up there for a week, but only today put a line up there saying they would resume with regular season games.

And KTLK's OK to stream the preseason games because the NHL isn't. Once the regular season starts, they can't (at least that's how I understand it).

Ivanans never even threw a punch. I didn't see how it started, but Purinton had Ivanans' jersey over his head and he pretty much had to turtle. No penalty for the jersey tie down, fortunately. Purinton got all the penalties, instigating, fighting and a 10 minute misconduct.
