Brown 9/26 postgame
Here's the transcript of Daryl Evans' postgame interview with Dustin Brown, as graciously provided by Thomas LaRocca of LAKings.com
(It seemed like there were a lot of differences between yesterday's game and today's game...)
Yeah, last night's game was a lot of offense, a lot of flow. Tonight was a little more NHL style and it seemed like a little more hitting, a little more physical, tight checking. Both games were a different feel.
(Was it still a possession-type game, like the one you played last night? More work along the boards?)
Definitely a lot more work along the boards, with the big ice. It's all about possession with the big ice, so tonight we grinded it out along the boards and that's how we kept the puck. Last night it was tic-tac-toe trying to score.
(You guys fell behind early again but found a way to get the job done at the end of the game...)
Yeah, these teams come out hard. They got a quick two goals on us tonight and we just kind of weathered the storm and gradually took it to them throughout the game.
(Talk about what you've been able to do in Austria besides the game. Any sightseeing?)
We didn't get out. We got on a plane ride to see all the mountains and stuff, which was all right, but besides that we've just been here at the rink a lot. We got to see the town a little bit, but not too much.
(It's obviously good to take a little momentum into the season opener...)
Yeah, obviously this is what the preseason is for, building up for that game. I think everyone is ready to get to the real games and start playing and taking on Anaheim.

Just by coincidence, Saturday is the opening of duck season here in Minnesota.
