Final...Kings 4, Ducks 1
If you're the Kings, you can't ask for a much better first game than that. Interesting that there wasn't a single 5-on-5 goal scored in the game. The Kings got three power-play goals, the Ducks got one and the Kings got a goal in a 4-on-6 situation.
The three stars, in order, were Cammalleri, Bernier and Kopitar.

Bernier was incredible but I hope Labarbara gets the start tomorrow. GIve the kid a rest - he earned it!
Great game. Some rust, but not as much as the Ducks! FWIW, CBC's three stars - in order - were (1) Bernier, (2) Cammy, (3) Ryan.
On CBC the 3 stars were Bobby Ryan with the 3rd, Cammy with the 2nd and Bernier with the 1st star.
Great win for the Kings!
Best player on the ice was Bernier. If he plays 8 more games like that, he'll play a lot more for the Kings this season.
Jack Johnson did play much better in the 2nd and 3rd periods.
I was hard on Sully after the first period. Point taken about him playing on the 4th line and PK.
After the 2 on 1 hit he took that drew the boarding call, O'Sullivan played better with each shift.
This appears to be a MUCH improved Kings team over last year, especially on the blue line.
GO KINGS GO!
With regards to the 3 stars, on Hockey Night In Canada, the three stars were, in order, Bernier, Cammalleri, Bobby Ryan. How many different people pick the 3 stars of a game? And which ones are official??
