Giuliano to Manchester

For those who were wondering the other day, Jeff Giuliano has now officially been assigned to Manchester after clearing waivers.

I should have some quotes a little later, as provided by the good folks from LAKings.com

No great surprise on Giuliano. As much as some may have thought that Andy Murray would have use for him in St. Louis, I would say that they have more talented forwards than they know what to do with right now, and to add a 4th line energy guy would just put a crimp in the depth chart. Also, of course, the whole "waiver" thing is blown totally out of proportion with the fans. They generally think it's more important than it is, and that it means cutting ties with a player. There are dozens of players on the waiver wire right now, as teams make their final cuts preparing for opening day. It's doubtful you'll see much action in that area.

Anyway, back to Giuliano. He'll be a useful piece in Manchester.

I hope to hear some comments about LaBarbera. Is he hurt? The goaltending situation has really been handled poorly since Deans arrival and it just seems to be getting worse.
Now it looks like the team's success will pinned on a 19 year old rookie. He looks great so far, but it's a recipe for ruining a potential star.
