there were 160 players, including brown, cammalleri, visnovsky, blake, frolov, coaches crawford, kompon, johnston and lewis. cloutier was not there. kopitar and dave taylor watched from the sidelines. jim fox emceed the event. cammalleri was the first hockey player to get eliminated.
players who knocked out a hockey player won a signed hockey stick. first prize was $14,000 that went to some guy named steve.
the last two hockey players eliminated were laperriere (who made it to the last two tables) and rycroft (who was one of the last 5 players left).

my wife sat with Blake and Hannon...Lappy sat right behind her and it was pretty interesting because Blake and Lappy were chatting it up quite a bit and my wife was caught in the middle of it...she tried to knock out Hannon, but lost to another guy with a higher straight...oh well...better luck next year...hopefully!
