Kings 4, Ducks 1
An empty-net goal for Michal Handzus with 25 seconds left, after some great work in the corner by Patrick O'Sullivan on the penalty kill. O'Sullivan fought hard and worked the puck out of the corner to Handzus, who tapped it in. It was a 6-on-4 power play for the Ducks.
The goal came after a brilliant point-blank save by Bernier on Corey Perry, in which Bernier slid across and made a pad save.

Excellent game for the Kings! If I have one complaint it is that O'Sullivan wasn't given much of a chance to shine but boy did he take advantage of his opportunities! He did everything BUT score a goal. Looked good shorthanded and looked good at even strength languishing on the 4th line. Zeiler also gave an honest effort playing with Handzus and Nagy.
O'Sullivan looked great in the 3rd period, a couple of good chances on goal and the steal and feed to Handzus for the goal, nice!
Great game for the Kings, but not a season does a game make.
Remember the 2 goals Roenick got to start the season against the Stars two seasons ago, we all know what happened after that.
Let's make it 2 in a row Kings!!
O'Sullivan was one of the best players on the ice for the Kings.
He played every shift as thought it was his last. And he went into the corners and sacaficed his body for the team.
It's just a shame that he was demoted to the 4th line.
He's offensively gifted and should have played with Nagy & Handzus. He has the potential to be a point per game player.
What is your impression Rich.
Lets not forget who O'Sully out-hustled to make that nice pass for Handzus!
Ok,ok I gotta say it. Everyone, well not everyone, but a great number are talking about 1st line, 2nd line this line that line. Did you know that a first line does not always start the game .... so I guess we'd call them the 2nd line huh. Now days it all about match ups and who's getting it done with whoever. Don't look for all this line setting to be set in stone today. You'll see some combinations this year that will probably make us want to jump out the window. I know most of you have a favorite or favorites but the more these guys can play with each other and get the job done, we as fans are going to be in hog heaven. So don't break so hard on the coaching staff because your favorite isn't play on the first PP unit or maybe even the 2nd. Remember not everyone can be the "Gordie or Wayne" on this team and above all remember "TEAM"
