Rich, who scored the king's 6th goal.
wow, what an ugly game.
defense needs a whole lotta work.
Not sure on the sixth goal...hopefully LAKings.com will post a final box score. If I see it, I'll post it.
Seems like that game was a lot closer than it should have been. What happened to LaBarbara in the beginning ?
It was Nagy who scored the 6th goal.
Thanks Petey
And, LaBarbera got pulled after he allowed three goals on six shots.
Seems like the Kings had a rough time adjusting defensively to the larger ice surface? Perhaps LaBarbera got hung out to dry a bit...
I'm hoping that the larger ice surface had something to do with the 6 goals the Kings allowed. If not, then this is going to be a long year for the defense. If the D is that bad, send Bernier down to juniors now.
I'm hoping you are all worried about the defense and LaBarbara for nothing. This isnt exactly your normal preseason tilt here. Your in a totally seperate country on another continent and playing the home team in their own tourney. Back away from the ledge now please. On top of that of course the larger ice and probably horrible refs making ridiculous calls. It happens in every olympics and worlds so why not in this? Lets win this thing and get to London healthy, after that we can start to worry if need be.
Does anyone know when the Kings need to make the final cuts to the roster? Also, is it different for them and the ducks because of the games in London?
Thanks
Dragon...both the Kings and Ducks can carry one extra goalie and one extra skater in London. Cuts will have to be made before the first game in the U.S.
The jetlag made them do it! ;) Didn't affect Kopitar 'cause he's close to home! Anybody know who they're playing next?
Here is the link to the site that is hosting the tourney.

Coop, they play the winner of the 2nd game today.
Although ive been a Kings fan for over 30 yrs and hope this year is a step forward, without a top notch goalie, we arent even a playoff team.
