Roster spots
If you go with the presumption that 21 spots on the team are already secure -- Brown, Kopitar, Cammalleri, O'Sullivan, Handzus, Nagy, Calder, Armstrong, Frolov, Thornton, Willsie, Ivanans, Blake, Visnovsky, Johnson, Modry, Preissing, Stuart, Aubin, Bernier and LaBarbera -- then there are four spots still open for London.
I would guess that out of Giuliano, Murray and Zeiler, two will make the London roster, and it's almost certainly a choice between Giuliano and Murray.
On defense, it's probably two out of three between Dallman, Harrold and Klemm.
Then, when they return to the U.S., one additional cut will have to be made, or two cuts if the Kings keep three goalies. I think that made sense...

Do you think we could have an injury sort some of this out?
Frolov is probably the most injured currently if I'm remembering correctly. Is everyone on D healthy?
According to Crawford, Frolov will play in London. I'm not aware of any other injuries that might keep guys out of the lineup to start the season.
Actually yes, that does make sense. Thanks, Rich. 1 forward and 1 D will get cut before London. Before they return to the U.S., 1 more D and either 1 or 2 more forwards will be cut (depending on the goalie count). Kind of bummed though - Boyle, Hickey, and Lewis were the 3 guys I was hoping to see at Frozen Fury.

Now there is a sentence I haven't heard in a few years. :D
With Cloutier going to Manchester. LaBarbera looking like he starts out #1. Where does Bernier fit in the roster? Does he rotate as the back up or active during his starts?
Personally I hope Cloutier has a turnaround so we can give Bernier 1 more year in the juniors. Then again he looked good in the Kings Sharks game.
Maybe Hextall sees something in the kid and he ends up starting. So many questions.
Kings Line up (IMO):
Brown, Kopitar, Cammalleri,
O'Sullivan, Handzus, Nagy,
Calder, Armstrong, Frolov,
Thornton, Willsie, Ivanans………
Blake, Visnovsky,
Johnson, Modry,
Preissing, Stuart,
Aubin, Bernier and LaBarbera
Zeiler F
Murray F
Klemm D
Harrold D
IMO:
Guiliano and Dallman odd men out for Europe trim.
Murray and Zeiler over Guilliano. Murray brings more speed and offense potential especially if you plan on being the next Buffalo Sabres and rolling 4 lines to strike offensively. Zeiler because of his toughness and ability to check everything in sight.
Klemm and Harrold over Dallman because Klemm has more experience and Harrold because he has more upside and a little younger. We did the Dallman experiment last year already.
As far as on the return from Europe I would expect Murray and Harrold to be sent down.
You keep the 3 goalies for as long as you can then send Bernier back to the Q after his 9 games. Its really the only thing that makes sense. Hopefully LaBarbera and Aubin are playing in mid season form by then and playing well. Key word, “Hopefully”.
Then as far who to bring up…..depends on who is playing well and deserving the shot.
Rich, I am one of your biggest fans. Keep up the great work.
Thanks...and I agree with your lineup. I think they'll let the younger guys, Murray and Harrold, make the trip and then they'll be the ones to go to Manchester when the Kings keep three goalies. Klemm gets the edge because he can play forward in a pinch as well.
