Sloppy as hell.
Well coached game
I feel bad for Bernie. At this point, maybe we should send him down so he can have a real defense in front of him.
Send Bernier back. Not because he's not ready. He was practically their best player tonight, except for one bad goal.
But if they keep him in L.A., he's going to get killed in front of that defense.
The Kings really played themselves into a hole tonight. Obviously the problem isn't scoring goals, but rather preventing them. It would be nice to see a game where the Kings play actual NHL defense.
What is with the scoring lately? Seems like everyday there is some score that is 7+ And it has usually been against teams with good goaltenders i.e. Islanders and Canucks =/ The new NHL indeed.
wow.
we suck.
we suck bad.
is this the part where someone tells me it's only the 5th game...
unacceptable top to bottom.
are the kings still my team? yes, unfortunately...
Stuart passed up a clearing attempt on his forehand to try a BACKHAND up the middle. Later he almost causes another goal by making a hard pass that his d partner couldn't handle. No one can pass. No one can hold on to the puck. No one can play team defense. No one can provide decent coverage. What a waste...
i recently moved to Philippines after 40 years of being a Kings die hard. I complained about no Hockey coverage here, maybe after reading about Kings first 5 games it was a good move. Somthing tells me it will be same story after 55 games. Oh well next year!
Tha was an ungly game, defense was brutally pound into the ice. I would pull Jonathan Bernier off the clothesline and send him back to his junior team. Let him finish off the season there, next year have him play in the AHL and hopefully the Kings will be ready by then.
Okay, now we know what Labarbera had to put up with. It's not the Goalie but the Defense. Ofcourse I couldn't watch the game 'cause I was on the road to Vegas, so I really should just keep quiet. Can anybody tell me if Preissing played tonight?
I wonder how our D would be like if Matty was still here?
