Mercifully for everyone, it ends.

More from the locker room soon...

Rich, be honest with us (as you always are): The talent level this season looks improved (at least on TV) from last year's debacle. Is it the coaching that is not working on this group of players? The Kings look disorganized and disinterested most of the time. Is it time for a change behind the bench? There is no fire in this group.

WEll, I've made up my mind. Center-Ice gets ordered tomorrow, I refuse to spend another year watching pathetic hockey. Gotta follow a team that that has a little heart until the Kings can wake up.

Sorry, Crawford has got to go. Say all you want about Andy Murray, but his teams BATTLED HARD. Yeah, the results weren't there, but you can't forget about the injuries that plagued his teams. Crawford has really shown nothing in his two seasons that makes you glad he's the coach.

Jack Johnson led all players with 23:03 TOI, was even +/- and had 0 giveaways...Cammi stays hot but other than that not much to be positive about. The 4th line played well again. Maybe its time to put Ivanans on one of the top lines! (j/k)

how does next years draft look?

If Blake had one ounce of dignity left in his body, he would surrender his role as "captain".
Im tired of watching him stand around while the opponents fly by him. Minus -3 onnce again, this loser has no shame.
But, to him its all about image and appearance, He can care less for the team. When he's gone, he'll leave the team as captain and $12 Million richer. Of course he will have the last laugh.

by two seasons you mean one season and six games right?......

The Problem = Blake! No leadership on the ice. He has no energy and looks uninspired. I don't care about the leadership he provides in the locker room if it dose not transfer to the ice and I’m sure one else does either. I wonder if he would waive his NTC?

I'm not even so upset that the Kings lost to Detroit (as they usually do) so much as I am disappointed with the total lack of effort, enthusiasm and focus. The whole team appeared to be completely uninterested or unisnpired to compete. The Redwings are a very strong team, but the Kings made them look a lot better than they were. No aggression, no drive, no urgency equals no chance to win.

What more can be done to make these players actually have an interest in this game.

Totally unacceptable effort!

Answer: One way tickets to Manchester, that will wake the boys up. Honestly I'm surprised there haven't been any call up's or sent downs yet but they're coming. I seriously don't believe this will last much longer, putting up with this complete lack of effort. Can't cry over spilled milk but yes, Andy Murray was one of best of the best. He never should have been let go but it came down to Andy or the GM; guess who wins that one? In this case neither and neither Dave Taylor or Andy Murray are now with the Kings. The team needs someone of Andy's ability to motivate without fear. A lot of ranting and raving isn't going to get this team going. Maybe Dave Lewis is the answer but Crow isn't working for sure. Sticking to his "plan" is like dancing to "Nearer My God to Thee" on the Titanic, it's time to get into the lifeboats folks or else start bailing water. The team obviously has no direction, no leadership. I agree with the above, Blake should step down as captain since he's unable to lead the team on or off the ice, either in the locker room or by example. Cammy would be a perfect fit, he has a lot of fire in him and is well respected. We seem to forget the leadership that Mattias brought to the team, that element has been missing since he was traded towards the end of last season. Bottom line, there must be changes, now else we'll all be bailing water before Thanksgiving. The worst start for a Kings team in over 20 years...I never dreamed it would happen this year but it has.....
