Game preview

| | Comments (14) |

Our web people have added an interesting new feature to the Daily News' site. I'll attach the link below, but it's essentially a stats-based preview of the upcoming game. In this case, it's tonight's game against Dallas. From the looks of it, it's quite a tool for gamblers, but it also has information about injuries and recent games, etc. Anyway, check it out, see what you think.

I'll do some game updates tonight, for those who need them...

Nerds unite! This new feature/page is great for stat dorks (like myself). Pardone me while I go click all of your advertiser's links in an effort to help Daily News brass understand how much we appreciate the effort here.

Rich, Matt and "web people" - keep up the great work.

Whoa! That's a numbers geeks nirvana right there!

It's about time. They do all these extensive stats for Baseball, Football and Basketball. So, why not in hockey as well.

Keep it up.

That's awesome, I live in Reno and bet on three NHL games a day. You guys should break down all the games.
Tonight I got the Kings over Dallas at +155
Montreal over Pitsburg at +165
and Nashvile over St Louis at -105.

Chazz...if you click the ``Scores & Matchups'' link at the top of the page, it will give you breakdowns for every game.

Rich Hammond said:

Crawford doesn't have to declare it until he turns in the lineup sheets, which is about 30 minutes before the game I believe.
