Dustin Brown gets the goal but Anze Kopitar gets the highlight. Actually, it started with a nice neutral-zone pass from Michael Cammalleri, who sprung Kopitar free up the right side. Kopitar cut to the net and, drawing two defenders, forced Legace into a tough angle then fed a pass BETWEEN Legace and the net onto the stick of Brown, who easily tapped it in with 5:40 left in the period.

Bernier has stopped seven shots and looks solid again.

Actually, it started with a really nice pass out of the zone by Modry, of all people (I know the haters would never admit it). Cammalleri nicely redirected that pass, but Modry started that play.
