Crawford should buy Sully and Hundzus dinner. They saved the victory for babs.
I can't wait until Sully breaks out of this scoring slump. He's often the best player on the ice that doesn't score. He's been snake bitten offensively.
3 in a row, first time in 2 seasons. Lets go for 4 on Saturday. Nice victory against a good team.
I agree with Anthony. Sully's time will come.
I'm looking forward to the Oilers on Saturday - I was caught some of their game against Minnesota tonight. Much more open style play than the Stars, our guys should be in their element.
Honorable Mentions to Calder and Army. Those two showed up and played for LA.
Gord, how do you figure his time will come when Crawford continues to juggle him around like a tennis ball.
I mean don't you need to settle down with certain players to form some
chemistry.
Am I just thinking too much. I don't know.
LGK people are idiots who never skated in their lives. This is a good King team. 4 in a row on Saturday. Jinx THAT!
O'sullivan has been strong on the puck...I think he's trying to aim his shots too much, rather than just firing his natural shot...you can tell by the last second hesitation before the shot. Love the way he & the team are playing though. They look really good tonight.

Patrick O'Neil with FSN is a tool. Last game he insulted Cammi - after tonights game he announces to the crowd "it's nice to have a goaltender finally..."
O'Neal to LaBarbera and Staples crowd: "Nobody beats the Kings ten times in a row!"
memo to Patrick: that's not intimidating anyone.
on a brighter note, excellent game. can't wait to finally go in person to watch the kings on saturday... hopefully i'm catching them at the right time! why not 4!
A great victory EARNED by the Kings. I say "EARNED" because they made the proper adjustments after the first period and outplayed the Stars. That, and it definitely wasn't given to them by the officials, because the officials SUCKED tonight. I lost count of how many penalties were missed that were committed by Dallas.
Great job Kings, excellent play, gotta love those 2nd and 3rd lines, way to go Sully. Four in a row??? Why not! Go Kings!
Great win by the Kings. They flat out wanted it more then Dallas did.
A couple of comments...
Maybe this is just O'Sullivan's game? I think he's just Dustin Brown lite. Strong on the puck. Solid defensively. A little bit of offensive skill.
And yes, I know he had tons of offense as he was coming up, but who doesn't?
Also, don't be surprised to see Blake get suspended for that hit late in the 3rd period.
He clearly left his feet, and while the guy didn't get hurt, the NHL is trying to crack down on stuff like that.
5 games wouldn't surprise me.
Again, terrific effort by the Kings. 4 in a row is certainly an attainable goal.
GO KINGS GO!
Anthony ..... what is this love fest you have for O'Sullivan??? He is not a star and never will be, Firsy of all you have to have talent to play with certain players and chemistry so I guess bouncing him around is to see who he has it with and so far he has none... now there is a player to watch go down the road at trade time. Sorry Anthony, I only call it as I see it.
Hockey Only--
Anthony may be a bit too enamored with Sully, but your tunnel vision about his strengths is misplaced. One-he's still young and developing. Two-how many young forwards have you seen who take to the PK as well as he does? Did you miss his 15+ seconds of hounding Zubov and killing a Dallas breakout in the third? He's skating with purpose, and his teammates notice those things. Third-he's getting ice time with different lines because he plays well with others, not b/c of a lack of chemistry. If we could get Patrick O'Neal to stop asking poor questions (let's just ignore the "no one beats the Kings 10 times in a row" idiocy) and had him ask the players what they think of Sully I guarantee their impressions and yours would be like night and day. Let's enjoy the wins, enjoy the hard work on the ice, and look forward to Saturday.
Hockey Only...you're not watching the same games then.
Night in and night out Sully had been great on the PK and has added energy and had a LOT of scoring chances. He's in the right spot at the right time. Once they start going in for him and he loosens his grip I think he's going to have a good offensive season.
It seems that EVERY game Sully has his chance to put the puck in the net only to get robbed by the opposing goalie. Its a shame but if he keeps it up they are bound to come.
What was with the white jerseys last night?
Actually, no love fest to the average brain making these comments.
FYI, my favorite King player is Kopitar (superstar written all over him). My second favorite is Johnson.
As for Sully, I just like to see hard workers get rewarded for their tireless effort.
I just call it the way I see it.
Was at game last night our team did great... really was pulling for "GREASE". Great game....Great win!!!!
