Nice move by Kopi, but a much better game all around. Heard the boards rattling a lot more this time...

That was an amazing goal by Kopi!!!

Can't wait to hear Anthony complain about Craw's tie/suit combo ... parking at Staples Center ... or maybe how his wife or girlfriend over-cooked the chicken tonight (and yes, I am giving him the benefit of the doubt on this one!).

Good win. Let's build on this one and keep it going.

I thought to myself at the start of the third period, win or lose, the Kings showed alot more heart in this game. Glad to see the team get the 2 points. Winning can get contagious, let's just hope for the same effort in Western Canada later this week.

a lot more heart, and as much more structure. much better defensive zone coverage (the demitra goal notwithstanding) and much more composure with the puck.

Much more heart and hustle. Anze's goal in the shootout capped a very strong game for LA, what a nice goal! The Kings were still skating in the 3rd, something we haven't seen since they left England. It's a beginning and we need a good swing through Western Canada. JJ had another strong game, same for Sully who looked like he deserves a shot at the 2nd line. Great effort by all. Oops, Blake a -3 tonight, about the only downer in a good victory for the Kings. It's not a season but it is a beginning....

willsie and thornton definitely sent nagy a message. calder was also very good, and kopitar making that move and telling everyone he planned it that morning topped it all off.

and... i agree with anthony! let's get a streak going.

There is more complaining and whinning posts about Anthony than there are actually posts by Anthony. Go flame up somewhere else people.

Good win (and beautiful shootout goal by kopitar), but I'm still bothered by the fact that all 3 Wild goals were off of turnovers, poor coverage, or poor goaltending. Look at the goals the kings scored on the Wild - the Wild didn't give up any easy goals, they forced the kings to make great shots or score off of a deflection. Good teams don't beat themselves, and good teams force you to work hard for your goals. The second and third goals were definitely preventable if not for a poor pass and a napping goalie. If the kings want to make the playoffs, they can't be beating themselves. They have to watch their passes in their own zone and must be sure to clear out guys camping in front of their net.

Nice win against a good team. Solid performance by Aubin (excluding the 3rd goal), but as he plays more I believe he will make those saves routinely.
