Returning to L.A.

| | Comments (10) |

Andy Murray said he was happy to be back in Los Angeles and held no hard feelings toward the Kings. The Blues practiced in El Segundo after the Kings today.

``It was seven of the best years of my life,'' Murray said. ``The chance to live in L.A., the chance to coach the Kings, I was so grateful for that. I met so many great people. I tried to do the right things and treat people right when I was there. I think, when you do that, you can feel OK going back to a situation. The organization treated me very well. I was blessed to have that opportunity. I got lots of friends and respect out there. So I'm happy for Brady that he gets to be part of a classy organization.''

What a game opener this is going to be. It was really tough watching him with St. Louis last year... I was happy to see him working but hey...he's a king!

Lots of luck with the Blues Coach, just not against the Kings. ;)

Always loved Murray. I think he was just a victim of duration and a situation that needed a scapegoat. I think I will always consider him a King, no matter what team he coaches.

You're a class act, Andy. However, I hope your boy has a hat trick against your team tonight! You must be so proud of your son...

Maybe in a couple of years the Kings and Blues will meet for the Western Conference Championship and a trip to the Stanley Cup Finals.
