Calder update

Good news. Just heard back from a Kings representative that Crawford says the surgery went well and Calder will be in a cast for two weeks, then re-evaluated. Looks like the injury landed on the good side of Crawford's spectrum.

Good. I hope he returns to the ice soon.
I might have spoken prematurely about Calder.
SHouldn't have been such a tough critic without giving him a chance.
So far he seems to be best free agent signed by DL.
I'm starting to pull for the guy.

I kinda like Moulsson, I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do while Calder recovers.

We need to sign Calder for a couple more years. This guy is needed on any style of team.

How can you have two games against possibly our second closest rival not on television?????????????? And not one game, but two games, back to back even. Who's call was this????

So, another top scorer, Spezza, has signed a long-term extension:

Looks like this is now the norm, as GM's do not want to get poached of their young talent. Now, the question is - what to do with Cammalleri? Does he warrant this type of protect?
I say yes. Thoughts?

Thats right Chinde35, the Calder tropy is directly related to Kyle Calder. It's also known as the 'Grease' trophy.

I appreciate both of them taking the time to do this. it's the first time as a Kings fan that I can remember getting any good info.
