Calder update
Good news. Just heard back from a Kings representative that Crawford says the surgery went well and Calder will be in a cast for two weeks, then re-evaluated. Looks like the injury landed on the good side of Crawford's spectrum.

We need to sign Calder for a couple more years. This guy is needed on any style of team.

Looks like this is now the norm, as GM's do not want to get poached of their young talent. Now, the question is - what to do with Cammalleri? Does he warrant this type of protect?

Thats right Chinde35, the Calder tropy is directly related to Kyle Calder. It's also known as the 'Grease' trophy.
I appreciate both of them taking the time to do this. it's the first time as a Kings fan that I can remember getting any good info.
So who will be the guy to crash the net and block the goalie? He will be missed
