Coyotes 4, Kings 1

Lubomir Visnovsky tried to carry the puck out of his zone and got stripped. Shane Doen picked it up, skated in alone on LaBarbera and tucked the puck into the net with 9:11 remaining in the third period.

Once again, a very uninspired effort, for the most part, by the Kings. LaBarbera has stopped 27 of 31 shots.

It's like they all forgot what hockey is about. If you're not good enough, than you're not good enough. But there's just nothing there. When they put on the equipment and jerseys before the game, what exactly do they think they're getting dressed up for?

And that power play...the other really team has to stop taking penalties against the Kings. That's where the other teams are smart though, I know I'd want the Kings on the PP too. What is that? Do the Kings know what it means when the other team has a player feeling shame? Do the Kings know what they're being paid to do?

Rich,

If you get a chance to speak to Lombardi again, please ask him his thoughts on Lubomir Visnovsky's season. I don't think even he could spin how poorly Lubo has played since game 1 of this season.
