Kings win 8-2
Buffalo didn't pull its goalie in the final minutes. Largest margin of victory for the Kings since beating Florida 7-0 Feb. 3 of last year. Notes and quotes from a happy locker room to come.

matt, future reference, no team is ever going to pull their goalie with a deficit greater than two, unless its a live or die game in the playoffs or to make the playoffs.
Visionquest, you shouldn't use 'ever'!!
1)The Kings played a game against Vancouver in the 80s where they were leading 8-0 and Vancouver pulled it's goalie in the last minute to try to break the shutout (no luck: 8-0 was the final).
2) Going into the last game of the 1980-81 season, the Kings had 98 points. They were tied going into the last minute (I think it was against the Colorado Rockies but not sure). They pulled the goalie to try to get the win so that they could finish with 100 points (they didn't - it finished in a tie...I vaguely recall it 5-5 but that might be wrong).
True stories!!
Actually, now that I think about it, there were a couple of regular season games where Andy Murray pulled the goalie when we were down by 3. One was a November game against Nashville two years ago with the Kings trailing 4-1 with about 2 minutes left. The heartbreaker is that the Kings actually scored twice with the goalie pulled but still ended up losing 4-3.
the one i remember is murray pulling the goalie in OT when nothing but a win would have kept us alive for the playoffs. it remains the only time i've ever seen "GW EN goal" on an nhl ticker.
