Long meeting, no practice

So the Kings met at 9 a.m. this morning and ended up never getting on the ice. Interesting turn of events the day before a game. Not sure what went on at the meeting. I'll see if they'll divulge anything tomorrow. I'm told the Kings are planning to announce a transaction later in the day. This could be bad news for LaBarbera. Cloutier, anyone?

Jonathan Quick and Gabe Gauthier have been called up.

I would've liked to see Dan Cloutier get the call, he would add much needed toughness. But hey, Quick has more goals than Derek Armstrong!

Quick and Gauthier recalled

I believe the transaction is a Manchester Recall.
Kings have recalled Johnathan Quick & Gabe Gauthier.

Happy for Quick, but why Gauthier. I was hoping for Purcell.

Is this accurate or not.

I don't think Lombardi has the balls or intelligence to make a descent transaction.

Oh, YEAH - I'd love to see Cloutier called up. We need that #1 pick - and I'm sure he could guarantee it for us by at least 20 points.

Was LaBarbera injured by that Smyth-stick to the ribs?

Mop....That was a nice touch, practically everyone has more goals than Armstrong....LOL

Cloutier for toughness?

Whatever happened to Ryan Flinn? That guy skated as bad as Ivanans but dude was tough and ended fights in one punch with no doubt about who one...mostly because the guy he fought was on his ass unconscious.

It seem's as though LaBarera was injured even if it's only minor in nature. I'm still disgusted that no one on the ice at the time or even later in the game had the balls to go after Ryan Smyth. That's a form of team bonding as far as I'm concerned.
