The Kings got the first seven shots on goal of the period but Detroit scored the first goal, with Tomas Holmstrom hitting a one-timer off a nice centering pass from Pavel Datsyuk. There were so many cheers in Staples Center that I had to double-check which goal light was going off.

should the veteran players on the kings roster teach the kids how to play a game and how not to make sorry ass mistakes that result in goals ???????
or should veterans learn how not to make stupid mistakes from the kids??????
No offense, kings are beating them selves that should be the story of the kings season this year.
Not one veteran player is worth their paycheck....on this team...
Kings will be a play-off team two years from now....that's a reality
