Aubin gets the start tonight

There's really no reason to give LaBarbera the night off. Crawford has been rotating the goalies the past four games. That could continue depending on how Aubin does tonight.

``Our schedule frees up now where we're not playing a burdensome amount of games, so there’s an opportunity for us to go with one goalie,'' Crawford said. ``Or, should J-S continue to play well, we’ll continue to give him games.''

Aubin has allowed four goals in his last 188 minutes on the ice, two starts and twice finishing games for LaBarbera. He has a .953 save percentage over that period.

``I’ve played pretty solid the past couple games,'' Aubin said. ``I’m focusing on winning games and going game to game. I'm not going to go too far ahead. It's been fun so far but I'd like to get (the team's) fourth win in a row tonight and go from there.''

If we had a legitimate #1 goalie, we wouldn't be having this problem.

Well... Way to go Crawford. When things are going right... Let's throw a change in. I like that way of thinking... STUPID! I would like to say Raycroft is better then Aubin, but then what do you do?? Drop another goalie to Manchester?? We have room for no more goalies, Unless it's Bryzgalov or better

That's a tough call John.
I believe the goaltending position is the most important position on a hockey team.
Look what it did to Pheonix. Bryz tuned a last place team into a playoff contender.
I don't think Raycroft is an elite goaltender in the league. I would have to consider our goaltending situation. Raycrofts salary and contract. If we're gonna make a playoff run. Etc...
