Kopi on last-minute miss
``It was rolling and the angle was not the best either. I kind of slapped it. I got so excited and surprised at the same time that I just wanted to put it in the net. I hit it flat and with the angle just missed it. The frustrating part is it missed the goalie and the post, because if I hit the goalie it probably would have rolled in. It happens once in a while, the kind of blooper where you miss the open net.''

Only his second year in the NHL. Next season he buries that shot. :D
No excuse for that, my grandma would have put that in, you are a professional, not a Brian Willsie.
Kopitar you are the man stfu and go put on ur backwards cap
As much as I've been upset with this team over the years, I can't be upset with my boy, Kopitar.
However, if you do it again, Anze, perhaps a trip to our old stomping grounds in Inglewood is in order. I guarantee you'll never miss another shot after that experience.
