« Brown has taken leave | Main | Morris interview: Part I »

Cammalleri activated

I asked Mark Morris if anyone was called up with Brown gone and he said he hadn't gotten any word. This must be the reason why. Michael Cammalleri is ready to return after a 17-game absense with his rib injury.

About time. Kinda got the impression he just didn't want to play anymore for this team.

I saw the game where he got injured, at Nashville. All he did was tug on the opponents sweater during a fight. Probably to prevent from getting his ass kicked. It's hard to imagine that he missed these many games for that.
At least when Labs had his rib injury, he was stabbed by a stick and a 215 pound player fell on his abdomen.

This is just speculation, but it seems that Labs returned in half the time from a seemingly worse rib injury.

Lets hope Cammy makes up for lost time (and lost Brown).

Sully Kopitar Cammy?

Frolov Kopitar Cammy?

Interested to find out. Anyhow, Go Kings!

Gotta disagree with Anthony here--
Not every injury is accompanied by bloodshed or major impact. Remember Palffy's shoulder injury--it came from what looked like a tug on his sweater, and it ruined his season and career. Mike Bossy blew his back out bending over to tie a skatelace at practice. Cammi's a gamer, and I cannot envision him overplaying the rib injury.
