Deadline day

| | Comments (16) |

So the trading deadline is at noon Pacific. The Kings practice at 1 p.m. I'm going to bring my computer to Toyota Sports Center. Hopefully the temperamental wireless will be working and I'll be able to post some updates from there. There will be a period around 11 a.m. in which I will be in transit. At some point, I'll have interviews with Dean Lombardi, any key players traded and any key players obtained.

Thanks for your hard work Matthew!

I'm starting to hear Camalleri rumors now.

I'm listening to the trade deadline coverage on the NHL channel on XM Radio. Apparently the team that's most interested is Phoenix, and rumored to be in the deal are Keith Ballard (4G,7A,15P,+2) and/or Zbynek Michalek (3G,10A,13P,+12), and that a deal for Camalleri is very likely today.

I'd make that deal if it's BOTH Ballard & Michalek, or one of them and other players/prospects/high draft picks.

No way I'd go Camalleri straight up for one of those 2 defenseman.

DL please dump Armstrong. For anything. Be creative.
I can't stand the sight of him on the power play.
Or anywhere else for that matter.

Thanks Matt. I'm sure it will be a busy day in Kings land.

wow, 15 minutes to the trade deadline and no LA Trades. I am kind of in shock.

I heard talks with Brad Stewart weren't going too well so I expected him to get traded.

It is now 12 noon here in L.A. and at this point the deadline has ended and the Kings have made ZERO trades. How is this possible?! How do they expect anyone to buy tickets to watch this mess of a franchise?

Looking forward to blasting Lombardi and AEG at the Breakfast with the GM on March 9....

Blake's not worth anything over 1.5 mil at this point in his career. Sundin and Blake just proved that they love where they live, don't want to move, don't want a cup, and can care less about their teams' future. What a couple of selfish aholes. I hope the Kings offer him next to nothing or let him walk. Right now a trade to the worst climate would have been the best thing for Kings fans.

If anyone sees Blake surfing this summer, snake or spear him every chance you get.

Next game he plays he needs to hear the boo birds like he's never heard before.
