Purcell back up

as an emergency recall. I suppose we could see something like this coming with Nagy and Thornton still not ready. Purcell had one assist and six shots on goal in his previous five-game stint with the Kings.

This is puzzling.
Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to see Purcell be on the roster.
But if the team was short at the forward position, why did they send Moulson down.
This Lombardi character seems to do alot of things backwards.

Anyways, good luck to the team. Hope they fry the flames.
Cloutier will be in goal today. Expect the Flames to fire shots at him from the red line.

Awesome!!! I'd much rather watch a glimpse of the Kings future than Thornton or Nagy any day. Even if it's only for another few games.

Rumors

kings interested in McCabe and Pitkanen

I doubt the Kings are interested in McCabe's contract though. Plus this year in 31 games he has 13 points. For those who think Lubo's numbers are bad this year, McCabe's are even worse. No thanks
