Tonight in goal...
It's Erik Ersberg getting the start, most likely. I'm told Crawford and Ranford gave him good reviews for his effort against Minnesota, and barring a last-minute switch-up, it will be Ersberg in goal tonight against St. Louis.
The forum answers will continue in a little while. I figure there's about 15 more questions to answer.
Great news, if you consider the alternative.
Hopefully the players can reward him with more than one goal.
It will be interesting to see if Cloutier can keep his mouth shut, unlike his time in Manchester. There are a number of Monarchs fans who are still seething over the way Cloutier muscled management at the time Danny Taylor was about to break the team's shutout record...
This is great news! The Kings may win a game this time around :D Keep up the great work Rich!
Ok so I'll be the first to quote the Yahoo News Power Rankings that came out today regarding the coaching in LA
"You have to figure there’s a better than 50-50 chance there will be a change here. Marc Crawford is 0-2 in getting anything out of the Kings. He missed the playoffs his final season in Vancouver before getting hired in Los Angeles."
anyone?
Happy to hear it's Ersberg. If he plays well tonight, I'm hoping he gets the chance to go the rest of the way until (or if) Labs comes back. He's looked great in the time he's been given. The team better play well in front of him!
anthony,
They were plying the Wild, a very stingy team. St. Louis is anything but.
Matt,
I can also add to that question with----- Why do the Kings usually come out slow in the 1st period of games and then pick their game up from 2nd to 3rd? Is this because of lack of preperation by the coach and the team playing more of their game after that?
