Wild 2, Kings 0

This pretty much says it all: The Kings, down 1-0, went on the power play with 6:16 remaining. Not only did they not score, but Gaborik scored 12 seconds after the penalty expired to give the Wild a two-goal lead. Pretty much the story of the season, don't you think?

Positives? Ersberg was strong again, with 27 saves, and by my count, the penalty-kill unit has now killed 29 of the opponents' last 30 power plays. Negatives? Well, I'm sure you can figure that out... It's the sixth time this season the Kings have been shut out.

I'll post the AP game story when the full version, with quotes, comes over.

Couldn't watch the game. But I got tired of hearing Nick Nickson say "Armstrong missed another empty net".
Too bad that our odffense was out to lunch.

Off the subject, anybody hear that Chris Pronger received an 8 game suspension for stepping on Ryan Kessler.
What a cheap shot artist. One of the dirtiest players in the league.
In my opinion, he should have received as many games as Chris Simon.
They're both lower than the crap you find in the sewer.

Then, in ordder to save face, he apologizes (probably regreting getting caught).

Screw you Pronger. You can taker your apology and shove it up your rectum.
There's no place in this league for garbage like you.

does anyone know where the visiting teams stay in LA?

Ersberg may well be a legit stop-gap for a few years until Bernier is ready to play.

And on another note...Tampa Bay wins again!

Opposing teams have stayed in the Millenium Biltmore downtown (at 5th and Grand Ave.), but I don't know if that's a regular thing.

Ah, another step closer in the Stamkos Sweepstakes.....

I agree with Anthony.
The use of a skate blade can end a player's career.

The apology he made was so fake. The only thing Pronger is sorry for was getting caught on camera.
