Daniel Taylor returns
Guess who's back from Reading? I guess we don't need to go through this whole story again, but Taylor is back and will be available tonight against San Jose.

Rich Hammond has covered the Kings, on a full-time or part-time basis, since the 2000-01 season. He was the beat writer for the entire John Torchetti era and has witnessed Bob Miller singing country music in a Nashville honky-tonk bar. Jill Painter joined the Daily News in 2000 and during the last eight years she's covered the Dodgers, Cal State Northridge, UCLA, Kings, golf and everything in between. Even though she's from Colorado, she still freezes in the Staples Center press box but always manages to thaw her fingers in time to make deadline. E-mail Jill at jill.painter@dailynews.com.

This is freaking retarded.
He is almost ready to play for Reading now...
For God's sake Cloutier should just shut down for the season and save the team the damn hassle!!
This just goes to show you what this guy is all about. Cloutier is a pesky bug that no matter how you squash, he just keeps coming back. Enough already...
concur with Kingsfan4ever
KingFan4ever... what the hell does this have to do with Cloutier? He's injured. He's been injured. It's well documented that he's injured. Taylor needed to fly back and forth to appear in the last two Reading games to make him playoff eligible. That had everything to do with the technicalities of the roster requirements in the ECHL. I'm sure Taylor's not upset. I'm sure the Kings are grateful that he's been a trooper. In a couple weeks he'll be in the playoffs and the Kings will be on the golf course... and Cloutier will be healing from the emotional scars of having to read fan blather on all the various blogs and websites. Give it a rest.
Are you people dense or just ignorant? This has nothing to do with DC. As has been pointed out previously several times on this site, taylor is being shuttled back and forth to Reading so that he can appear in the minimum number of games played required for the ECHL playoffs.
uhm... Taylor didnt play in any games either time he was "sent down" id be surprised if he ever even left LA.
ian- taylor appeared in both games he was sent down for, but played for less than a minute in each.

well then, i stand corrected and your reasoning for him being sent back n forth is most likely correct.
Marc, thanks for the info regarding why the Kings sent Taylor back and forth. His ECHL playoff eligibility is obviously very important to the Kings.
2 or 3 more coast to coast trips in the next 72 hours and he's officially in.
Know wonder we are moving our AA team to Ontario.
Will Don have an interview with Taylor? I want know his thoughts 'bout traveling back & forth.
If he gets frustrated, he can use all those frequent flyer miles to fly to Tahiti. ;)
I'm gonna be excited when Jesus Weekend at Bernier, Ersberg, Quick, and Taylor fight it out for our starting job...not to mention Barbs too. Let's just hope the Kings don't give up the wrong one...
I never thought I'd ever hear myself say this but..
Go Ducks...
Then I hope they lose the rest. TB should have a decent shot at atlanta
