Taylor sent down

Yes, again. To Reading, again. If I were him, I'd just stay at the airport and wait 24 hours. So, again, you'd have to assume that Cloutier is ready to play tomorrow night.

On an unrelated note, who's better than Bob Miller? We at the Daily News had a goodbye lunch for Matt McHale, my predecessor on the Kings beat (as well as in my current role) and Bob came and spent a couple hours with us. We enjoyed Bob's company and marveled about how he seems to be looking younger every year.

Apparently it is so he can get into a certain amount of regular season games so he will qualify to play in the playoffs for Reading.

Maybe Taylor is close on FF airline miles for a summer trip? Oh please don't let Dan play Thursday.
No one is better than Bob Miler. Like an earlier post the San Jose guys last night where very good too. They said a lot of good things about the Kings players, all positive stuff. And the worst goes to the those two quakes that call the Ducks games.

Someone's racking up his frequent flyer mileage.

Bob is fine except when he tries for combovers.

Bob Miller is not only one of the best hockey broadcasters of all time, but overall sports broadcaster of all time. Unbiased commentary and tells it how it is. I like that he gets just as excited for the opponents as for the kings and says what he feels when the team is stinking it up. Those losers down the 5 freeway should take some notes. I can't stand those two quackers.

Reading is playing. Taylor is backing up Murray, and played ONE SECOND... now he is probably on a redeye back to LA and will be recalled in time to back up Ersberg tomorrow.

So when the Kings season ends what is going to happen with the Goaltenders? How about something like this?

Reading: Quick and Taylor
Manchester: Bernier and Ersberg

If Zatkoff decides to turn pro what do you do with him? Send him to Reading? Manchester?

Bob Miller is one of the classiest people you will EVER meet.
I have had the pleasure of talking with him on several occasions in a variety of venues and he is always friendly, polite, and gracious. A real class act!

Yea, that Bob Miller... He may be looking younger but his verbal and mental blunders become more evident with every game. Could be all the players passing through the Manchester revolving door that gets him confused?
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he's a great guy, has a solid reputation for his unbiased game calls, is a hall of fame broadcaster, etc. but sometimes the man makes game comments at the wrong time and just lets the gooch out on the Kings. Jim Fox knows what I'm talking about.

Example: "Minnisota's Brain Rolston carries the puck over the blue line, he hasn't scored in the last 10 games Jim. Rolston shoots...HE SORES!!!" and Brian Rolston goes on to score a hat trick the same game. Bob can kill a King's shut out faster than an Al Iafrate slap shot too. A long time ago there was Jigs McDonald, now theres Jinx Miller.

Cloutier really deserves the start after all those nice things he said about the organIzation. Play him, let him give up double digit goals, then draft Stamkos, trade all of our other picks for the 2nd pick, draft Doughty, and then buy out that piece of Dung Cloutier...oh...never mind, instead let's pay him and send him to Reading to rot as the #3 goalie!!!!
