Then I hear all these reports that we're getting him. I had to call Ray (Shero, Penguins GM) this morning and say, `I hear I'm trading for him. What am I giving you?'''

I think we have all learned a good lesson here. While rumors are fun and help unscrupulous reporters *cough* Bruce Garrioch *cough* drive traffic to their website, in the end they all do more harm than good. Mostly this is b/c everyone on Rich's blog hears Anthony complain all day about why Dean has not pulled the trigger on the Malkin to LA deal yet.

Cammy and a pick of course! Oh, and could you throw in Crosby, Fleury, and Staal? No? We'll give ya Cloutier sign Blake and trade him and maybe throw in another pick! Still No? But Ray, if I dont get this deal done, Anthony is gonna be soo mad at me!!
Hopefully we will sign Michelle. Younger and healthier than Blake, and will do anything to win.

It was fun today. How many times do we get to discuss,or blow smoke at each other, at such an exciting time for the Kings and it's fans.
Is there any draft parties around, except at Staples?
Anthony, I don't care what people say about you. Your obviously a Kings fan and that's the most important part and you take the ribbing in good nature. Your alright in my book.

I really enjoy all of your input.It`s interesting how different we all think.My main concern is defense, if they sign Blake we will be in the same boat as last year! We really need that roster spot for a hard core defenseman. Cammi was not are problem.When they paid blake all that money, everyone thought they get also. Keep cammi move blake to front office some where. See you tomorrow at the draft. King Fan 35 years. Go Kings!
