Preseason schedule

Is it that time already? The Kings announced their preseason schedule today. No ticket-sale information is available yet, other than that tickets for the game in Kansas City are already on sale. Here's the schedule...

Day, Date ------- Opponent -- City (Venue),Time (Pacific)

Mon., Sept. 22 -- Coyotes -- Los Angeles (STAPLES Center), 7:30 p.m.
Mon., Sept. 22 -- Blues -- Kansas City (Sprint Center), 5:05 p.m.
Wed., Sept. 24 -- Avalanche -- Denver (Pepsi Center), 6 p.m.
Sat., Sept. 27 -- Avalanche -- Las Vegas (MGM Grand), 7 p.m.
Tue., Sept. 30 -- Ducks -- Los Angeles (STAPLES Center), 7:30 p.m.
Wed., Oct. 1 -- Ducks -- Anaheim (Honda Center), 7:05 p.m.
Sat., Oct. 4 -- Coyotes -- Phoenix (Jobing.com Arena), 7 p.m.

To clarify, yes there are two games on Sept. 22 and yes, it will be a split-squad type of deal. Per CBA rules, a certain number of veterans must be in each game, but since that's early in camp, there will be plenty of players available.

How can the Kings be in LA and Kansas City in the same date?

Rich, I assume this is an error on Kings' Press Release, but they have two games scheduled for Monday, September 22nd. Or are they doing split-squad exhibition games this year?

Mark,
AEG owns a sports arena in Kansas City.
After all the money they're losing, maybe they're previewing a potential change of Venue for the entire organization.

Maverick said:

It is not an error, they are playing two games on the 22nd, they are splitting the squad.

Since I have four season tickets does not mean I get 2 for Kansas City and two for here? (Ha Ha).

That's a strange way to give the coaches (whoever they may be) a chance to evaluate the players since they can't be in two places at once. I guess the known quantities like Kopi, Brown, and so on will go to St. Louis so that the others get more time for evaluation.
