Hopefully the Kings do *something* this week. This is kinda painful, watching everyone else make improvements, while we seem to be at a complete standstill.

I guess you might as well ask DL about how talks are going with Ersberg, Stoll, Moulson and any other RFA's we have.

I cant stand the waiting. Why does it seem that DL takes longer than everyone else?

Could it be that most of them are pending a physical to sign with us???

I love the waiting. It allows everyone to panic. There's some uncertainty. There's a little mystery. Throw in some rumor. Add in the lack of any signings at all, and baby, you got a stew goin'.

Why does everyone think that it's DL that is taking longer with the O'Sullivan signing? Maybe it's O'Sullivan's agent. Nooooo, nobody thinks of that cause they're too damn busy blaming Lombardi.

I'm sure the answer will be that they haven't started yet. Remember, they "can't do everything at once". That's the party line right? I mean, they've been so busy the last week.

Man oh man oh man, this is like the real old days when you never got to know anything about what Jack Adams of the RedWings was going to do, heck he traded 1/3rd the team after they won the Cup in 50, of course Conn Smythe never let on what he was doing either, this is just like Christmas day, you know there's a package waiting for you, only you can't tell what it is. Rich thank you so much for all the hard work and hours you have put in to this, I for one really appreciate it and later this week, this old guy is gonna look you up at the camp. Thanks again.

I am a Brazilian by passionate Kings.
I'm not understanding what you want Mr. DL, because until now we have not seen any movement satisfactory, since the draft of Drew.
I do not know what can happen with the Kings if not improve the team during the pre-season, because we have stains in various positions, mainly in defense and in goal.
And the rumours that the Kings will get out of LA, are real?

it is true that AEG is gonna build new multi purpose arena in Las Vegas...to open in 2010..

so the teams that have some sort of connection to AEG are possible suitors for that...

I'm an aussie Kings fan living in LA, strangely enough ice hockey is comparable to the action and intensity level of aussie rules football (not rugby), hence my rabid devotion to it...)

How was Morrison going to fit in? He'd have to be replacing someone or take a roster spot from the youth, right???

I was secretly hoping we'd nab morrison. He's a gritty true 2nd line winger, but mostly I'm just dying for someone to mesh with fruit loop. Hopefully stoll will. Bertuzzi is off the market too. Flames I believe.

Anyways, tho I can't wait for the calls to come in, I remain positive about getting Sully locked up. Some affirmation to that effect would be nice though...

Morrison is a center and we already have Stoll. Not sure what purpose signing him would serve. Except maybe eating up cap space. So, I guess that would have been OK.

And if the Kings move from LA I am boycotting everything NHL, everything AEG and which ever horrible town they end up in.

I doubt the team moves. We have a much more solid fan base than Anaheim. People care about LA even after years of no winning. For Anaheim people only care when they win.

Also, I don't think the league would allow it. And there are other teams with even worse problems than LA that would move first.

What will happen if we don't improve before the season starts? It may be good for us. Another year for kids to improve and another good draft pick. Tavares is next year.
