Injury update III
It's been a rough week for the Kings. Now, Richard Clune is out with a broken bone in his chest. Sounds painful. Apparently it took place during the second period of Monday's game after a hit along the boards. Clune, being a typical hockey player, played the rest of the game, but now he's expected to be out for an extended period of time.
Almost all of the veterans are in Denver for tonight's game, but I got interviews with Clune, Oscar Moller and Andrew Campbell.

Even though she's from Colorado, she still freezes in the Staples Center press box but always manages to thaw her fingers in time to make deadline. E-mail Jill at

Hey Rich, Does that mean that Moller is in LA and not Denver?
That's correct...
Hi Rich, Like Anonymous, I was immediately struck by the fact that Moller is not on the roster for tonight. He's a long shot, but I'm really pulling for him to make the team at least for the first nine games. He is certainly showing that he can play at this level. Do you have any idea why he is not playing in this game?
Bummer for Clune too. He was really looking great.
hey rich just wanted to ask if wanye simmons is in the line up tonite
Well, now I friggin love Clune. He probably knew the rest of camp was toast for him (I mean after he got hurt), so he went for it. And it worked. He made his impression. Hopefully it's just a few weeks and he can come back during the season.
That sucks about Clune. He seems to be a type of player that we can really use. I was excited as hell to hear that he dropped the gloves with Fedoruk. I hope he gets well soon and get's a crack at the line up. I found his scrap from the other night on youtube here it is:

I don't care if he wins or loses the fights, at least he did what he needed to do.
Go Kings!
I turns out that I was a couple hours late. Rich posted both of Clune's fights from the other night and one from training camp. This what happens when you read everything in order.
