Kings 1, Coyotes 1
David Meckler scored on the power play, 7:55 into the first period, on an assist from Brian Boyle to tie the game. As mentioned in the last item, Kyle Turris scored a power-play goal 1:47 into the game to give Phoenix the lead. The first period has also featured a fight between the Kings' Richard Clune and the Coyotes' Todd Fedoruk, so Clune isn't shy about taking on the big guys. Jason LaBarbera has stopped 3 of 4 shots so far.

I can't wait to see Clune! I hope he makes it to Vegas! Rich, who "won" the fight? It's one thing to take on players/be scrappy, but another if he will be a good tag team with Raitis!!
The first fight- Clune picked on the wrong guy Todd Fedouruk and had to hold on for dear life, because he's not in Fedouruk's league. The second fight Clune took on a guy of his size and it was pretty even. Ivanans by the way destroyed the guy that he fought Keefe, half his face was bleeding as Ivanans beat him up pretty good. In this case Keefe picked on the wrong guy, since he is quite a bit smaller than Raitis. These guys (Clune and Keefe for Phoenix) are just trying to impress the coaches by showing how tough they are, but not really good enough to win the fights...
