Stoll confirmed

Jarret Stoll's contract will actually be four years, $14.4 million. Just a mild difference. I'm expecting some comment from Dean Lombardi later today.

Rich, any chance you can find out if there is an NTC or NMC ?

That's an average of $3.6 Million a season.
Good for him.
Last year he scored 36 points.
Sully scored 53 points. In his first 29 games, he only scored 10 points - because MC played him on the 3rd and 4th line with loser players.
I suspect that Sully will be asking for the $4 Mil range.
Thoughts.

I appreciate DL's work on getting Stoll signed.

Anthony,
You make my head spin.
Why can't you seem reasonable more often.

I clearly agree that Sully will use Stoll's salary. Along with Mezzaros and other RFA'S, to increase his range.

My prediction for O'Sullivan is 3 years for $8.4 million or $2.8 million per year. Based on his age - 23.7 on October 1st - and having had one good NHL season I think upwards to $4 million per year is too high. Also, when that contract runs out he would have one more year of RFA.

One down, and a fair number all things considered.

Now, I think Sully's number (Avg per season) has to at least match Stoll's. Anything less and I foresee a Cammalleri problem down the road. In my mind there is no doubt that Sully is the more versatile, skilled player with a higher up-side than Stoll.
