O'Sullivan quotes

Here's what Patrick O'Sullivan said after last night's loss...

``We've got a young team and playing the defending champs, you've got a lot of all-stars over there and I think after the first five or 10 minutes we settled into our game and we saw that we were going to be able to compete with them and, like I said, we gave them a pretty good run. ... Obviously we were real close to getting the two (points) and it's disappointing, but at the same time, that's a really good team and we're happy with that one point. They've got some pretty good players they can put out there for the shootout. Shootouts are fun when you win and when you lose it kind of stings a little bit, but we're going to be on our fair-share of the win side this year. Overall, we have to be happy with the game and we can build on it."

Thats what I'm talkin about! No more negativity, its contageous. Last nights game could have gone either way! After all, Frolov's goal was as much a fluke as "the giveaway".

More of the expected political correct speak, everyone knows the team and specifically Kopitar ,Brown and O'Sullivan himself would be playing better and producing more if they played on the same line all the time.It would also limit the jumbling of the lines after a PP is finished.Just use your common sense Murray.

Frolov's goal may be a fluke but it was a result of series of right plays. Zeus's smart chip in play and Frolov's speed created 2 on 1 and if his pass to Simmonds made thru there was good chance to be a goal.

I agree Kingjin...completely.

My point was that the game was very close and while the ending was tarnished, the game was very entertaining.

Any thoughts on Moller getting a shot on the top line?
