O'Sullivan signing likely
It appears as though the Kings have reached agreement on a contract with Patrick O'Sullivan. I should have more information within the half hour.

Huzzah!
Kings site has it listed as done. . . a 3yr deal. Dont know for how much, but 3yrs is better than 1yr. happy with it so far.
AWESOME. thanks rich.
Woohooooo!!
I was expecting Sully to miss a part of the season. Great news!
So what are the lines going to be now? I hope moller and simmonds stay up.
What about McClaren being waived. I think the kings were looking at him before trading for O'D. Would they trade a pick for him and move herald down?
Three years? If I'm not mistaken that takes him right up to UFA status upon the completion of the contract. Sounds like he didn't give the Kings anything in that respect, hopefully this means he signed for a bit less. They'll be negotiating again in a couple of years and if POS is not responsive, look for the Kings to trade him.
Someone will still complain.
average of $2.925 million per year but will pay him $4 million in the upcoming season
Power Forward,
4 years takes him up to UFA status, this will give him one more RFA year.
SWEET!!!

Keep the champaign on ice. It is a little early to uncork it. The Kings Site said "verbal agreement". For a deal longer than 1 year, it has to be in writing. So, I am encouraged, but DL and POS need to follow through.
