Sadly, the Kings roster won't be complete without O'Sullivan.

VERY disappointing. Where is Dr. Phil when you need him.

Sully should be traded or signed.
Having him sit out is a simple waste.

Mike said:

O'Sullivan to Vancouver makes alot of sense.

Sulli needs to fire his agent. This should have been taken care of weeks ago. He has to be hating the way this has been handled. Season starts on Saturday...

i hope petr prajsler makes the team.

Big picture Anthony...big picture. They have MUCH more to think of over the next 3 years and beyond than just O'Sullivan being signed to a losing team.

You give in to him now, not only are you giving into his demands, your balls are cut off in negotiations with Kopitar, Johnson, and anyone else for the future of this franchise.

Sully's agent is really doing harm to the guy. He already has issues with his family...and his billits are a problem and SHOULD not be involved. For such a good player, assertive and skilled...he might have a weak mind if he can't make a manly decision. At this stage in the young man's life all that matters is that he is playing. I hate to say it, but perhaps he should be traded.

This team is gonna be so horrible. I can't believe some of you are gonna pay to watch these clown. I feel bad for Kopi, brown, Jack and Drew. This organization has failed us miserably this season. They are not even icing a competitive team. Rob Blake had the rite idea.

If Petr Prajsler makes the team we won't have room for Jan Vopat.

Is Jere Karalahti out of rehab yet?

Don't you think this is a bad reflexion on DL as well. Remember the Lord Cammi ordeal. He's gone.
He signs Lubo to a big contract, then he says he was signed for too much money. Then he's gone.
Now, it appears as though Sully will be gone as well.

Not too many players are gonna feel comfortable with this kind of pattern. Its disturbing. I wouldn't be surprised if Kopi and JJ hold out as well.

I believe DL should get some of the blame. He's just not compromising.

Dear Mike....are you carrying a white flag...?

I'd really like to blame Sully and his agent for the whole f'd up contract negotiations. . .but wasn't this kind of thing the very reason DL was fired in San Jose???

Mike said:

It is just really hitting home. I am so tired of rooting for a lottery pick. I honestly just really miss the feeling of walking into Staples for a playoff game. I got to talk with Adam Deadmarsh at frozen fury and it just made me long for the good ol' days. Not much too be excited about this year. Johnson does not want to be here either trust me on this!

LOL, you actually care what Carla Muller writes?

(P.S. The word is "BILLET"...)

You don't know who's to blame here, but the fact that the team has taken this hard stance, at a time when the economy is in the toilet and ticket sales are going to take a hit, O'Sullivan or not, you can't be looking forward to Lombardi's next folly... He's proven time and time again that he's not the sharpest tack in the shed.

Bluline77,

Correct. And its this kind thing that's gonna get DL fired in Los Angeles too. The sooner the better. This rebuilding thing has been a failure.
I'm not interested in the lottery anymore.

Mike,

By Johnson I'm assuming you mean JMFJ. What gives you the impression that he doesn't want to play for the Kings?

Let's bring back Randy Holt while we're at it!

Not even in the slightest Anthony. It's not always about some conspiracy theory.

Cammy was NOT well liked in the lockerroom. His trade has nothing to do with money. It had everything to do with who he was as a person and how selfish he was as a hockey player. Period, end of discussion.

Lubo was traded because his replacement was thought to be ready (Hickey), and the money being spent on him could be spent elsewhere to resign 2 or 3 others. Period, end of discussion.

This is a business, not a fans fantasy team.

Done...next?

He has made mistakes, trading Cammy was one of the better moves he has done since Lombardi has been GM of the Kings. Squid was a cancer and was not liked by his teammates.
