Back to Ersberg
Here's what Terry Murray said after practice regarding his decision to go back to Erik Ersberg for tomorrow's game against St. Louis...
MURRAY: ``Ersberg will go back in. He won last night. We go into every game wanting to win, trying to win, and whenever we get a combination that seems to be going in the right direction and we're getting a win, I'm going to stick with it. That's pretty much the same with every position right now. That's the attitude I have, so he will be going again.''

Thank god but I'm not sure I like that logic...
i'm happy he's staying consistent. but unless ersberg wins every game from here on out, i think he'll still go back to jlb and give him a longer leash. if he applied this logic from the start of the season though, jlb would have been pulled much earlier, and we would likely not have started 3-6-1. i'll be happy though if he sticks with the "ride the hot hand" mentality, because that means much more of ersberg for the rest of the season if he does indeed perform better than jlb.
such a relief. Happy he came out with it now instead of waiting until just before the game. I like that, I hated not knowing who would go in until the pre-game warm-ups.
Great, I think.
With that Logic, POS will remain on the 4th line.
Calder will remain on the top line?
Huh.
It isn't so much that I like the logic but do I believe his logic? I only question because if he truly tends to play the same players after a win then why did he take so long before deciding on Berg? Seems to me, he should have known that Berg would have been the starter right after the game was over imo.
Don't call him Berg...that brings up bad memories.
I think he means in relation to the goalies which I don't mind...but if he means that logic on the whole, then that defeats the purpose of him previously saying that they're trying to get the process down.
TM if you read this then can you please play Labs
