Citizen Robitaille
For some morning reading material...Jill did a column this morning on Luc Robitaille, who has became an American citizen since the last presidential election and will vote for our new leader for the first time.
Luc who's voting -- Kings legend Robitaille will get his say in this election
As hard as it will be for some of you, please avoid turning this into a political discussion. It's just a good story about Luc. Thanks.

Smart guy. Gotta luv the luc.
Luc should vote for Kopitar-Brown-O'Sullivan to stay together the entire season. Enough of the line juggling.
First off, I agree with Josh...enough of the line juggling.
Now...awesome news...great for you Luc!
Atta boy Lucky!!!
pretty cool for Luc, even though it sounds like he's been hanging out with the Hollywood Elite too much.
one of the good things about this country, I thought it was pretty easy to get registered to vote. not only can you do it online, but every time you go interact with the DMV they ask you, and they have the forms at the post office also right next to all the others. not to mention all those people in front of the supermarket trying to sign people up.
still it's always nice to see someone from another country (even one as close and similar as Canada) interested so interested in our country they are proud of earning their citizenship and want to be involved in the political process.
Luuuuuuuc!!!
Nice piece, Jill.
How awesome would that be to vote and see Luuuuc there? Mind-blowing.
Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
I love Luc but am worried. On Saturday night there was an interview between periods and there was a creepy AEG-speak moment with Luc and it was scary. AEG somehow got the irreverent Alexei Lalas to SELL OUT, cut his hair, start talking profits, and focus on what happens "at the end of the day." The Luc I saw sat. night was eerily like the start of another pod-person. Shorn, business-ready coiffure and the first sentence started with "at the end of the day..."
There must be brain washing or scientology "audits" going on. I swear, Staples is a house of horrors and they're stealing people's brains.
I think Luc, the Kings, and AEG are in trouble.
I also wouldn't be surprised if he's being asked to say he's voting for Obama just because California is traditionally a democratic state. I'm sure Big Phil don't want Luc voting against his party and his buddies.
Actually, Anschutz is a Colorado resident and a Republican donor. So not only did you go against my request to not bring politics into it, but you got it wrong. The attempt to be antagonistic on every post is getting real old, real quick.
Sorry, Daddy-O.
Sometimes I can't help myself, but I don't get why, on the day before an election, you post an article about Voting and don't want it discussed.
I know Big Phil is from Colo. and Republican, but the Kings and most of us KINGSINSIDERS are here in LA LA land.
Sorry to be antagonistic. I wasn't trying to be antagonistic to any of the readers, just critical of a business I think symbolizes much of what's wrong with the world.
Why not just delete it?
cheers
Congratulations for participating in the election, Luc! I hope that everybody will have voted because there are too many people who bitch about the process, but don't actually do anything constructive, like voting, to change it.
Im sorry.
Yes its a nice article and great for Luc.
BUT did you seriously ask us not to bring politics into a discussion about an article you brought to our attention about our coveted most loved player taking sides in the election??????
OK just wanted to get that straight.
Go Luke. wew hew. (But the Communist News Network?? REALLY??)
Actually Rich,
Think about this for a second.
Take the whole nice article and pull out Obama and CNN, then INSERT McCain and Fox News Channel.
Article still seem nice to you and Jill? If so then I will eat my socks.
I'm willing to bet otherwise.
Cheers!
