Friday practice update

| | Comments (13) |

Erik Ersberg will be back in goal tomorrow night vs. St. Louis. Ersberg practiced today with a slightly larger set of pads, ones that cover a bit more of his knees, just to start breaking them in.

No line changes, injuries, etc. I talked to Bill Ranford about goalie development in the system, so stay tuned for that plus some stuff from Murray, Ersberg, O'Sullivan and others.

Wow, really unexpected move here by Murray, maybe he is not so oblivious afterall. If he is able to correct his mistake and make Ersberg his #1 I would worship him in a cult-like fashion.

meh... no big deal. I'm sure LaBarbera understands that the last two games have been a relief to the 5000 people who've attended them... but, yeah, I'm also sure he's reminding himself of his shutout 15 days earlier...

Way to go, I am so glad. TM was starting to taste like crow.

Is there practice tomorrow before the game?
or Sunday morning?

I wasn't expecting this, but I'm sure happy to see it. Seems Murray never sounds real upbeat when talking about Ersberg and has shown favoritisim towards Labs.
This makes my day!!
Thank you TM, thank you very much.

Good to see him finally grow a brain.
Now if he'd just take POS off the 4th line and put him where he belongs.

I know for a fact that dl is not happy with the two guys in Manchester. La Barbera as well. I'm surevwe will get a sugarcoated version so it does not damage their trade value.

Oh goodie! More of Harrold as winger on a line with O'Sullivan and Boyle - Oh, joy!

And WHY did Lombardi trade a 2nd round pick for a guy who has a 61.3 faceoff win percentage yet is a healthy scratch?

And WHY would Ivanans be playing against St Louis? Who is he going to fight? The same kind of guy Florida threw out there?

Im a Boston Bruins fan and recently I took a liking to the Kings over the last 2 years..My question is when is Coach going to realize that Labarbera is not a starting goalie on any team..I think the team has played a a bit squeemishly oer the last ten straight games with Labarbera in net I dont think the team wanted him between the pipes..just a thought!!Keith from Boston Mass.
