No lineup changes

Based on this morning's skate, the Kings will play tonight just as they practiced yesterday, which would mean Calder with Kopitar and Brown, along with Harrold skating on the right side with Boyle and O'Sullivan. Ersberg will be in goal, as expected.

The Kings' suddenly wobbly penalty-kill will get tested against the Ducks, who have scored six power-play goals in their last three games. On the other hand, the Ducks have allowed five power-play goals in their last three games, and discipline is usually an issue for them. The Ducks are 5-0-1 in their last six games.

Ersberg being given a pretty big challenge right here.

Can't wait!! The Kings should be the hungrier of the two teams based on the last 5 or so games, a win over my neighborhood duckies would be sweet..

How come we don't call up Purcell??

The Kings just need to win, easier said then done, and their PK will rebound ... or that is what I hope.

I ask again.. if we are in rebuilding mode, trying to develop young players, why give Calder first line minutes? It. Does. Not. Make. Sense.

Most teams are coming out of the gate flying attempting to discourage the kids, but the kids have mounted a come back on most occasions. I would like to see the Kings match their opponent’s intensity from the start.

Calder was ok on the first, better than Moulson. How many games was he up there before? 2 or 3? I believe he did have 2 points with Kopi and Brown, so whatever works you know. Still it would make sense to give Sully a REAL shot at establishing himself with Kopi and Brown again.

I just hope Boyle gets put on the PP again, I loved finally seeing that happen against Calgary.

Also, if we are juggling lines so much, why not try Sully at center? Isn't he a natural center? He's definately got playmaking skills, maybe that line with Boyle would be better served with Boyle on the wing.

I thought Harrold was a d-man.

If the kings lose this game...there is no hope for the rest of the season...a 3-7 start would be way too difficult for a fragile team to rebound from

he is.. he skated a bunch of shifts (somewhere between 5-7 I forget the exact number) on RW last game. something about, Murray likes the versatility of having 7 defensemen and Harrold brings that kind of flexibility to jump up and play wing if required.

So much for simplification.

Yeah, because POS getting 4th line minutes is to "spread the scoring"...

What a load of crock!

If you are just going to put him on the 4th line anyway, just put him with Brown and Kopitar.

TM is losing my trust, quick!
