Quincey will get a ring
Steve MacFarlane of the Calgary Sun wrote a story today on Kings defenseman Kyle Quincey. Quincey seems to be picking up continent-wide attention, based on his play and the circumstances of his departure from Detroit. One interesting note is that while Quincey didn't get his name on the Stanley Cup last season, the Red Wings allowed him to spend a day with the Cup and will give him a championship ring when the Kings visit on Dec. 20. Here's the story...

Classy organization.
That's very cool of the Detroit organization to do that for Kyle Quincey.
Not sure why DET opted to keep Chris Chelios over Quincey. What a great pick-up by the Kings.
I kinda wish the Wings would stumble a bit on the ice, but I can't argue with the class they bring to the league.

Or Lilja for that matter. Even with Chelios out Lilja's skating less than 17 minutes a game and isn't the horse on the PK Cheli is. It's almost like Holland did not want to break up the Swedish Syndicate.
But just to echo what others have said, what a class organisation.
