The last one...
Tonight is the last game of the Kings' longest homestand - seven games - of the season. It certainly didn't go as planned, but the Kings could finish by winning three consecutive games.
``Just build on momentum,'' Terry Murray said. ``I'm a big believer in momentum. (Winning three consecutive games) to me it (would) mean a lot for a team that's made a lot of changes with new personnel and young personnel. The confidence level, just the good intangibles you sense when you walk in the locker room. I believe in momentum, I think it's nice to have it on your side. That would maybe start some of that.''

I never liked the word momentum from the standpoint of,long term. Sure, throughout the course of a game, momentum can change, but I like to think that a team that's consistent does not worry about momentum. Does anyone understand what I am saying or am I just talking out of my arse again?

Jill - good stuff today, thx
"That would MAYBE START SOME OF THAT"...
and we wonder why this guy perplexes us with his quotes :)
masteral99, you are not talking out of your ... i just think that momentum plays a role on the mental side. if you think you feel ok, then you feel ok. if you feel that you're playing well, then maybe you have just a bit more spark, maybe you skate just a little faster and maybe you shoot and check just a little bit harder. ersberg has momentum and the team is feeding off of that and playing well behind him.
Is tonight's game in rinkside view?
Anyone?
