Its a real toss up, in fact I think I tossed up a bit in my mouth after looking at those pictures! Geez Rich, you need to warn somebody before you do that!! Although, the jacket wouldnt be too bad, does it come with a big silver Kings logo necklace and chest hair??

This is like asking, "What's worse: Winning the lottery or inheriting millions of dollars?"

I hate them both.

The satin jacket is worse than any logo they could put on it. What do they think this is, the 80's? Maybe they can bring back b.u.m. clothing too. I'm still not sold on this being the final logo. Too many photoshop fakes running around.

Unless the Kings decide to completely eliminate the current logo and replace it with this one, and then, after tons of people complain about how awful it is, Luc says "I going to get killed for this, but if these people don't like the new logo don't buy it"---I'm going to have to say that RSV is worse.

That looks a little too funky for my taste, but then again I'm a notoriously terrible judge of fashion and what looks good on the rack vs. what it looks like on a person. The logo is... eh I can't say it's horrendous but it definately could be better.

It's highly mediocre.

So final verdict, which sucks more - RSV sucks more.

Putting aside the jacket itself (the 70's called and want it back) The logo looks more of a European type logo. Please god do not let the Jerseys be metallic silver... I think I can deal with the Logo depending on what the rest of the Jersey looks like.

I can't believe anybody (Luc?) signed off on this. I mean it's almost painful to look at. like some 5th grader designed it. I think my comical (guesswork) version of what this 3rd jersey logo would look like is actually not far off, and certainly not much worse:

Well, presumably rinkside view is temporary and hopefully for just few more broadcasts. We could be saddled with that 3rd jersey logo for years to come. So based on that, I'd say the logo.

That's a no brainer the logo doesn't effect my ability to watch and enjoy the game.

I love when the puck is behind the goal and the camera is at center ice on rinkside view. The puck isn't even on the screen yeah that's great.

The logo is not so bad -- but it seems odd that in the middle of the artistic community that we have in Los Angeles that that logo was the best that they can do.

i thought they should have utilized the lion for the new alternate. we have used the crest and the crown already, why not the lion. its bitchen, with the sunglasses, the stick and puck? come on now...

Why don't the kings just wear the Lion as a crest logo (the one with the hockey stick and sun glasses) and their current crown on the shoulder, with black background. Animals with sticks are always a winner...i.e. Penguins, Sharks, Panthers.

eric - please don't suggest that. I find that Lion with Sunglasses to be extremely embarrassing. Please. I'd rather have the upside down envelope as shown above.

I wonder if you get a free pair of quads and tube socks with that jacket? Or maybe just a call from the 70's/80's saying they want that jacket back. But...that all said, if the last mock up shown above isn't all that bad (compared to the rinkside view...which I'm convinced they ought to have vomit bucket night for us average fans who can aford to only go to one or two games, so we have a licensed L.A. Kings bucket to retch into after rinkside view makes us yak for the remaining home games), just boring. Has anyone given an opinion as to why not the Fourm Blue/Gold uni's from 1967-68? Or even better, the big bananas from the early 70's? Those would be a third jersey/uniform to talk about.
